Lenox Deed Transfers Show Wide Price Range in Late Summer
Ten properties in Lenox recorded deed transfers between July 10 and Aug. 8, according to the Middle Berkshire Registry of Deeds. Five of the ten sales disclosed a price, ranging from $52,000 for 39 Tucker St to $1,175,000 for 2 St Andrews Ct, the period's top sale; the median disclosed price was $660,000. The other five transfers, including several involving trusts and one condominium unit at Twelve Oaks Village, listed no sale price. One address, 215 West St, changed hands twice within the four-week span. With half of recorded deeds lacking disclosed prices, the data offer only a partial picture of the period's market activity.
