The top recorded sale was 359 New Lenox Rd at $398,334, sold Aug. 3 from Heather McDermott to Old Second National Bank and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. Banks or mortgage entities appeared as buyer or seller in most transactions, and two properties, on Hubbard Street and Holmes Road, transferred from family trusts to the town of Lenox. With price data available for less than a quarter of recorded transactions, the period's overall market tone cannot be determined from this dataset alone.
